Medford, Oregon Dentistry of Dr. Eugene V. Meyerding

Dr. Meyerding feels privileged to be able to improve the lives of others through dentistry.  This includes giving outstanding dental care to those unable to afford treatment.  He has done this through the years by giving of his time and opening his office  through various nonprofit organizations such as the Children's Dental Clinic,  the Society of St. Vincent De Paul and Oregon Donated Dental Services (DDS).

Below is a picture from the Oregon Dental Association publication Membership Matters:

"By volunteering for DDS, you can restore the oral health and change the lives of patients like Jacksonville resident, Steve, who is a Vietnam veteran with post-traumatic stress disorder, chronic pain and spinal arthritis.  He needed extensive dental treatment that he could not afford. Oral surgeon James D. Savage, DDS, donated an extraction and a tori removal, and Eugene V. Meyerding, DMD, volunteered to provide Steve's dental care, including full upper and lower dentures.  Denture fabrications were donated by Warrender Dental Lab."

Dr. Meyerding and Staff participated in the 2 day Mission of Mercy at Central Medford High School.

Sponsored by the Oregon Dental Association, the local clinic offered care to anyone who came to the school over a two day period. Clinic volunteers provided more than 6,000 procedures valued at approximately $740,000.00.
The project was made possible by 1,076 local volunteers, including 122 dentists, and by a wide range of civic-minded organizations. Facilities workers and administrators from the school district made sure Central provided a welcoming environment for the clinic.
